The easiest way to train your pooch? Praise him more. In a recent study, confrontational approaches-such as yelling at your dog to stop barking--actually made bad behavior worse in some cases. Dogs love to please--so he'll want to repeat the behavior that won him a "Good boy!" or yummy treat.
