Alumnus who penned Mark Twain bio to speak at UNO

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) _ A University of Nebraska at Omaha alumnus who went on to pen the biographies of George Orwell, Graham Greene and Mark Twain will speak on campus later this month. Michael Sheldon's March 25 lecture is part of UNO's Centennial Speaker Series, which celebrates the campus' 100th birthday. Sheldon is a 1973 graduate of UNO. He's now a professor at Indiana State University. His book ``Orwell: The Authorized Biography'' was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in 1991. His latest book is ``Mark Twain: Man in White.'' Sheldon's talk is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Thompson Alumni Center. Its free and open to the public.
