Dierks Bentley exploring bluegrass music
Published Tuesday, March 09, 2010 at 09:18 AM
Dierks Bentley says if it wasn’t for bluegrass, he never would have become a country singer, and his new album due out his summer will explore that passion. The album, Up On The Ridge, will feature contributions from Alison Krauss, Miranda Lambert, and many others. “This album won’t come as a surprise to my hard core fans,” Dierks says. “They've asked me: ‘when are you going to make a bluegrass record?’ And I was just waiting for the right time.”
