LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Business-minded students across Nebraska will get the chance to pitch their ideas to a panel of experts.

And they'll get more than the satisfaction of knowing their business ideas have merit: six prizes of $6,000 each will be awarded to winners.

The so-called quick-pitch competition is being sponsored by the Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship and the Southeast Community College Entrepreneurship Center. The competition will take place Feb. 25 in skyboxes at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln.

The competition is open to all students at Nebraska high schools and colleges.

Event details and competition applications are available at www.entrepreneurship.unl.edu. Applications are due by Friday.
