Pioneers to bt honored at ACM

ENCINO, Calif. (AP) _ The Academy of Country Music is honoring the Oak Ridge Boys, Brenda Lee, as well as the late Porter Wagoner and Conway Twitty. They're the recipients of the Cliffie Stone Pioneer Award, which honors pioneers in the country music genre. The awards will be presented at a special event in Nashville later this year. The academy is also honoring Dick Clark. He's slated to receive the Jim Reeves International Award. It's presented to an individual for outstanding contributions to the acceptance of country music throughout the world.
